Holotype: WAM P.25032-009. Paratypes: AMS I.22745-001 (4); WAM P.25032-008 [not P.25032-002] (8). Type catalog: Hutchins & Smith 1991:41 [ref. 19335], Moore et al. 2008:47 [ref. 30117]. Also appeared in Hoese & Allen 1983:255, fig. 6 [ref. 8331]. •Valid as Hypseleotris ejuncida Hoese & Allen 1982 -- (Unmack 2001:1063 [ref. 25797], Hutchins 2001:44 [ref. 25847], Allen et al. 2002:294 [ref. 25930], Thacker & Unmack 2005:2 [ref. 28186] dated to 1983, Hoese 2006:1602 [ref. 28998], Larson 2007:115 [ref. 29458], Morgan et al. 2011:18 [ref. 31262]). Current status: Valid as Hypseleotris ejuncida Hoese & Allen 1982. Eleotridae: Eleotrinae. Distribution: Australia: Prince Regent River system, Kimberley (Western Australia) endemic. Habitat: freshwater.
