seegersi, Aphyosemion (Diapteron) Huber [J. H.] 1980:3, Figs. [Deutsche Killifisch Gemeinschaft Journal v. 12 (no. 1); ref. 8469] 35 kilometers south of SembĂ©, in the direction to Mekambo, along a bike road to Gabon, Ivindo basin, Congo. Holotype: MNHN 1979-0282. Paratypes: MNHN 1979-0283 (3). Name appeared as a nomen nudum in Huber 1977 [ref. 2268] according to Wildekamp 1993:275 [ref. 26378]. •Valid as Aphyosemion seegersi Huber 1980 -- (Wildekamp 1993:275 [ref. 26378], Lazara 2001:30 [ref. 25711], van der Zee et al. 2007:169 [ref. 30034], Fermon et al. 2022:261 [ref. 39448]). •Valid as Diapteron seegersi (Huber 1980) -- (Wildekamp et al. 1986:243 [ref. 6198], Seegers 1997:16 [ref. 23895], Huber 1999:53 [ref. 25500], Eberl 2022: 253 [ref. 39346]). Current status: Valid as Diapteron seegersi (Huber 1980). Nothobranchiidae. Distribution: Western-central Africa: northwestern Congo River basin (Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon). Habitat: freshwater.
