See Das 2003:353 [ref. 27706] with date as 1924 [sic]. •Status uncertain, in Poropuntius -- (Roberts 1998:116 [ref. 23549]). •Valid as Barbus burtoni Mukerji 1934 -- (Menon 1999:82 [ref. 24904] as bartoni). •Valid as Poropuntius burtoni (Mukerji 1934) -- (Vishwanath & Kosygin 2001:32 [ref. 25682], Kottelat 2013:143 [ref. 32989], Hoang et al. 2024:217 [ref. 41179]).
