Also appeared in Arnold & Ahl 1936:409 [ref. 26585] and, as Arnold in Ahl 1937:116 [ref. 15261]. •Valid as Trichopsis pumila (Arnold 1936) -- (Liem 1965:207 [ref. 20933] as pumilus, Vierke 1986:120 [ref. 36452] as pumilus, Vierke 1988:169 [ref. 36453] as pumilus, Schaller & Kottelat 1989:36 [ref. 13604], Rainboth 1996:217 [ref. 22772], Kottelat 2013:458 [ref. 32989], Taki et al. 2021:409 [ref. 39830]). Current status: Valid as Trichopsis pumila (Arnold 1936). Osphronemidae: Macropodusinae. Distribution: Southeast Asia: lower Chao Phraya and lower Mekong River basins, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam. Habitat: freshwater.

Osphronemidae: Macropodusinae. Habitat: freshwater.
