Type catalog: Svetovidova 1978:257 [ref. 9011] and 262 [ref. 9011] with ZISP 2078 (p. 257) and 2076 (p. 262) as holotype. Current status: Valid as Gobio lepidolaemus Kessler 1872. Gobionidae. Distribution: Central Asia and Middle East: Aral Sea basin (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Iran). Habitat: freshwater.
