Current status: Valid as Aseraggodes xenicus (Matsubara & Ochiai 1963). Soleidae. Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Andaman Sea and Indonesia east to Palau and Marshall Islands, north to Kagoshima Prefecture (southern Japan). IUCN (2016): Least concern. Habitat: marine.
