Lectotype: ANSP 3268. Paralectotypes: ANSP 3269-3316 (48), BMNH 1868.1.10.23 (orig. 8, now 2). Type catalog: Gilbert 1978:26 [ref. 7042], Böhlke 1984:69 [ref. 13621], Gilbert 1998:42 [ref. 23395]. Original genus should have been Hypsolepis.
