Paratypes: UMMZ 136097 (6). Type catalog: Gilbert 1998:134-135 [ref. 23395]. •Synonym of Lepidomeda mollispinis Miller & Hubbs 1960, but a valid subspecies as described -- (Lee et al. 1980:203 [ref. 22416], La Rivers 1994:468 [ref. 23389], Gilbert 1998:135 [ref. 23395], Fuller et al. 1999:86 [ref. 25838], Scharpf 2005:22 [ref. 28940], Minckley & Marsh 2009:149 [ref. 31114], Page & Burr 2011:179 [ref. 31215]). Current status: Synonym of Lepidomeda mollispinis Miller & Hubbs 1960. Leuciscidae: Plagopterinae. Distribution: Lincoln Co., Nevada, U.S.A. [subspecies pratensis]. Habitat: freshwater.
