Current status: Valid as Scarus viridifucatus (Smith 1956). Labridae. Distribution: Southern Red Sea; Indian Ocean: East Africa, Seychelles, Madagascar and Mascarenes (Mauritius) east to Myanmar and Bali (Indonesia). Habitat: marine.
