Paralectotypes: ZIN 32187 (15, with lectotype). Lectotype selected by Svetovidov 1952:269, fig. 42 [ref. 21481]. •Synonym of Caspialosa brashnikovi [braschnikowi] (Borodin 1904) -- (Berg 1948:119 [ref. 12882]). •Synonym of Alosa braschnikowi (Borodin 1904), but a valid subspecies orientalis (Mikhailovsky 1941) as described -- (Whitehead 1985:196 [ref. 5141] as brashnikovi, Coad 1995:8 [ref. 23608], Reshetnikov et al. 1997:726 [ref. 24702] as braschnikowii). •See also Dorofeeva 1998:25 [ref. 23573]. •Synonym of Alosa braschnikowi (Borodin 1904) -- (Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2020:22 [ref. 37983] as braschnikowii).
