Locality is Lake Traunsee according to Heckel 1851:376 [ref. 18259], see Kottelat 1997:115 [ref. 22952]. Authorship may be Schrank & Wartmann 1783. •Synonym of Coregonus renke (Schrank 1783) -- (Kottelat 1997:115 [ref. 22952]). Current status: Synonym of Coregonus renke (Schrank 1783). Salmonidae: Coregoninae. Habitat: freshwater.
