Lectotype selected by Vari 1991:87 [ref. 19019]. •Valid as Rivasella robustula (Allen 1942) -- (Ovchynnyk 1967:32 [ref. 37559]). •Valid as Curimata robustula Allen 1942 -- (Ortega & Vari 1986:11 [ref. 9708]). •Synonym of Steindachnerina guentheri (Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1889) -- (Vari 1991:83 [ref. 19019], Vari in Reis et al. 2003:61 [ref. 27061], Dillman & Vari 2024:329 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Synonym of Steindachnerina guentheri (Eigenmann & Eigenmann 1889). Curimatidae. Habitat: freshwater.
