Paralectotypes: BMNH 1904.4.29.16 [ex RMNH] (1), NMW 56531 (1), RMNH 5324 (4). Mentioned in a footnote, along with unitaeniatus, as a more appropriate name for Neolebias unifasciatus Steindachner 1894; regarded as un unneeded replacement name. •Synonym of Neolebias unifasciatus Steindachner 1894 -- (Gosse in Lévêque et al. 1990:257 [ref. 21589], Musschoot 2024:353 [ref. 40817]). Replacement Name. Current status: Synonym of Neolebias unifasciatus Steindachner 1894. Distichodontidae. Habitat: freshwater.
