Original genus is correctly Chelodactylus. •Valid as Chilodactylus bicornis Steindachner 1898 -- (Pequeño 1989:63 [ref. 14125], Pequeño 2001:23 [ref. 28125]). •Valid as Chironemus bicornis (Steindachner 1898) -- (Meléndez C. 1990:87 [ref. 20883], Pequeño & Sáez 2000:32 [ref. 24590], Pequeño & Lamilla 2000:434 [ref. 24906], Meléndez C. & Cornejo C. 2001:69 [ref. 26163] , Dyer & Westneat 2010:606 [ref. 31446], Meléndez & Dyer 2010:683, 686 [ref. 32114]). Current status: Valid as Chironemus bicornis (Steindachner 1898). Chironemidae. Distribution: Southeastern Pacific: Juan Fernández and Desventuradas islands (Chile). Habitat: marine.
