Holotype: AMNH 7768. •Synonym of Stegastes leucostictus (Müller & Troschel 1848) -- (Allen 1991:253 [ref. 19344], Parenti 2021:83 [ref. 38418]). Current status: Synonym of Stegastes leucostictus (Müller & Troschel 1848). Pomacentridae: Microspathodontinae. Habitat: marine.
