Syntypes: MNHN 1921-0216 to 0217 (2, apparently lost). Type catalog: Bertin 1948:40 [ref. 19577]. •Synonym of Paradistichodus dimidiatus (Pellegrin 1904) -- (Daget & Gosse 1984:208 [ref. 6185], Gosse in Lévêque et al. 1990:247 [ref. 21589], Lévèque et al. 1991:140 [ref. 31367], Musschoot 2024:354 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Synonym of Paradistichodus dimidiatus (Pellegrin 1904). Distichodontidae. Habitat: freshwater.
