pingi, Gastromyzon Fang [P.-W.] 1930:31, Pl. 1 (figs. 3-5) [Sinensia v. 1 (no. 3); ref. 1296] Stream in Lin-yueng-shien, northwestern Kwangsi, China, elevation 2100 feet. Holotype: MMNHN 909. Paratypes: AMNH 9692 (1); BMNH 1930.11.7.2 (1, lost); NHMGZAR 558-569, 622, 761-779, 832-835, 836-839, 905-906, 950-965; UMMZ 156679 (1). •Valid as Beaufortia pingi (Fang 1930) -- (Zheng et al. 1989:257 [ref. 21202], Zhu 1995:135 [ref. 25213], Chen & Tang in Yue 2000:505 [ref. 25272], Kottelat 2012:59 [ref. 32367], Zhang et al. 2016:158 [ref. 34477]). Current status: Valid as Beaufortia pingi (Fang 1930). Gastromyzontidae. Distribution: Xijiang and its branch Nanpanjiang River, China. Habitat: freshwater.
