fulvus, Salmo Shaw [G.] 1804:80 [General zoology or systematic natural history; ref. 4015] Coast of Guinea, Africa (probably Togo or southeastern Ghana) [Guinea, Africa]. Neotype: ZMB 3615. Based in part on Salmo ode [sic, odoe] Bloch 1794. The neotype of fulvus was designated as the holotype of odoe by Ducru et al. 2012. •Synonym of Hepsetus odoe (Bloch 1794) -- (Decru 2024:371 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Synonym of Hepsetus odoe (Bloch 1794). Hepsetidae. Habitat: freshwater.
