Original as lucas-bahi. •Synonym of Botia beauforti Smith 1931 -- (Rainboth 1996:132 [ref. 22772], Kottelat 2001:88 [ref. 25780]). •Valid as Hymenophysa lucasbahi (Fowler 1937) -- (Nalbant 2002:317 [ref. 27361] dated 1935). •Synonym of Syncrossus beauforti (Smith 1931) -- (Kottelat 2004:14 [ref. 27360]). •Tentatively a synonym of Syncrossus beauforti (Smith 1931) -- (Grant 2007:48 [ref. 29922]). •Not treated in Zhang et al. 2016:154 [ref. 34477]. •Valid of Syncrossus lucasbahi (Fowler 1937) -- (Kottelat 2012:19 [ref. 32367], Fu et al. 2021:9567 [ref. 39347]).
