devisi, Mugilogobius McCulloch [A. R.] & Ogilby [J. D.] 1919:223, Pl. 36 (fig. 2) [Records of the Australian Museum v. 12 (no. 10); ref. 15219] Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia. Lectotype: AMS I.358 (smaller specimen). Paralectotypes: AMS I.358 (1 of 2), ?I.361 (2). Replacement name for Gobius stigmaticus De Vis 1884 [ref. 17383], secondarily preoccupied in Gobius by Smaragdus stigmaticus Poey 1860. See the account of Mugilogobius stigmaticus. Lectotype designation by Larson 2001:189 [ref. 25522] for stigmaticus establishes the same lectotype for devisi. •Synonym of Mugilogobius stigmaticus (De Vis 1884) -- (Larson 2001:185 [ref. 25522], Hoese & Larson 2006:1666 [ref. 29097]). Replacement Name. Current status: Synonym of Mugilogobius stigmaticus (De Vis 1884). Oxudercidae: Gobionellinae. Habitat: marine.
