Holotype: WAM P.28277-001. Paratypes: BMNH 1939.1.17.10 (1), BPBM 30913 (1), CSIRO CA 886 (1), ZUMT 10701 (1), 52224 (1, not seen in 1997). Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean: southern Indonesia east to Philippines, north to Taiwan, south to Western Australia. Habitat: marine.
