Kottelat 2012:135 [ref. 32367] gives a different latitude and longitude. •Valid as Yunnanilus discoloris Zhou & He 1989 -- (Zhu 1995:106 [ref. 25213], Romero et al. 2009 [ref. 30522], An et al. 2009:633 [ref. 30709], Zhao et al. 2011:1553 [ref. 31493], Kottelat 2012:135 [ref. 32367], Ma & Zhao 2012:111 [ref. 34891], Zhang et al. 2016:148 [ref. 34477], Du et al. 2018:143 [ref. 36374], Zhang et al. 2019:358 [ref. 36699], Du et al. 2021:325 [ref. 38600], He et al. 2024:202 [ref. 40917]). Current status: Valid as Yunnanilus discoloris Zhou & He 1989. Nemacheilidae. Distribution: East Asia: upper Yangtze River basin (Yunnan, China). Habitat: freshwater.
