runa, Steindachnerina Vari [R. P.] 1991:75, Figs. 50-53 [Smithsonian Contributions to Zoology v. 507; ref. 19019] Morawijne or Gran Creek, 63 kilometers south of Afobaka, Brokopondo, Suriname. Holotype: ZMA 120501. Paratypes: USNM 300000 (10, 2 c&s); ZMA 119426-27 (4, 1); plus non-type material. Type catalog: Vari & Howe 1991:40 [ref. 19022]. •Synonym of Steindachnerina varii Géry, Planquette & Le Bail 1991 -- (Vari 1993 [ref. 21020], Vari in Reis et al. 2003:62 [ref. 27061], Netto-Ferreira & Vari 2011:527 [ref. 31707], Dillman & Vari 2024:330 [ref. 40817]). Current status: Synonym of Steindachnerina varii Géry, Planquette & Le Bail 1991. Curimatidae. Habitat: freshwater.
