Type catalog: Ferraris 2007:235 [ref. 29155]. •Valid as Delturus carinotus (LaMonte 1933) -- (Isbrücker 1980:9 [ref. 2303], Burgess 1989:429 [ref. 12860], Isbrücker 2001:26, 31 [ref. 25653], Isbrücker 2002:15 [ref. 27178], Weber in Reis et al. 2003:352 [ref. 27061], Reis et al. 2006:293 [ref. 28706], Ferraris 2007:235 [ref. 29155], Vieira-Guimarães et al. 2024:45 [ref. 41258]). Current status: Valid as Delturus carinotus (LaMonte 1933). Loricariidae: Delturinae. Distribution: South America: Doce River basin (Brazil). Habitat: freshwater.
