Authorship in English translation is Chen. •Valid as Odontobutis haifengensis Chen 1985 -- (Wu in Pan et al. 1991:437 [ref. 23876], Zhu 1995:175 [ref. 25213], Chae 1999:12 [ref. 25430], Iwata & Sakai 2002:110 [ref. 25892], Wu et al. 2002:9 [ref. 26026], Iwata 2011:71 [ref. 31725], Zhang et al. 2016:197 [ref. 34477], Zhong et al. 2018:214 [ref. 36028], Hu et al. 2023:3 [ref. 40381]). Current status: Valid as Odontobutis haifengensis Chen 1985. Odontobutidae. Distribution: East Asia: Longjinhe, Dongjiang and Rongjiang River drainages (Guangdong, China). Habitat: freshwater.
