F) [Indo-Pacific Fishes No. 26; ref. 22812] Off desalination plant, Eilat, Israel, Gulf of Aqaba, Red Sea, depth 15 meters. Holotype: BPBM 18289. Paratypes: BPBM 37115 (1), USNM 231347 (1). Pseudogramma is feminine, so name should be megamyctera. •Valid as Pseudogramma megamycterum Randall & Baldwin 1997 -- (Rojas M. & Pequeño 2001:161 [ref. 25813], Allen & Erdmann 2012:310 [ref. 31980], DiBattista et al. 2015:19 [ref. 35706], Heemstra 2022:84 [ref. 39742]). •Valid as Pseudogramma megamyctera Randall & Baldwin 1997 -- (Bogorodsky & Randall 2018:[4] 242 [ref. 36492], Golani & Fricke 2018:66 [ref. 36273], Prokofiev 2019:425 [ref. 36810], Parenti & Randall 2020:99 [ref. 37354]). Current status: Valid as Pseudogramma megamyctera Randall & Baldwin 1997. Grammistidae. Distribution: Red Sea; western Pacific: West Papua (Indonesia). Habitat: marine.
