Type catalog: Moore et al. 2008:31 [ref. 30117]. •Valid as Chromis pura Allen & Randall 2004 -- (Allen & Erdmann 2012:584 [ref. 31980], Iwatsubo & Motomura 2013:209 [ref. 33092], Iwatsubo & Motomura 2018:28 [ref. 35995], Parenti 2021:56 [ref. 38418]). Current status: Valid as Chromis pura Allen & Randall 2004. Pomacentridae: Chrominae. Distribution: Western Pacific: eastern Indonesia. Habitat: marine.
