Type catalog: Andrade et al. 2017:449 [ref. 35588]. •Valid as Microlepidogaster dimorpha Martins & Langeani 2011 -- (Martins et al. 2013:386 [ref. 32415], Martins et al. 2014:560 [ref. 33544], Calegari et al. 2014:220 [ref. 33627], Roxo et al. 2017:267 [ref. 35139], Martins et al. 2017:242 [ref. 35356], Martins 2022:277 [ref. 39327]). Current status: Valid as Microlepidogaster dimorpha Martins & Langeani 2011. Loricariidae: Hypoptopomatinae. Distribution: Tributaries of rio Grande, upper rio Paraná system, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.
