Paratypes: IMNRF-UT. •Valid as Oxynoemacheilus freyhofi Jouladeh-Roudbar, Eagderi & Hosseinpour 2016 -- (Esmaeili et al. 2017:65 [ref. 35254], Esmaeili et al. 2018:45 [ref. 36089] with question, Jouladeh-Roudbar et al. 2020:166 [ref. 37983]). •Synonym of Oxynoemacheilus euphraticus (Bănărescu & Nalbant 1964) -- (Freyhof 2016:99 [ref. 34815], Freyhof & Özuluğ 2017:385 [ref. 35216], Çiçek et al. 2024:73 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Synonym of Oxynoemacheilus euphraticus (Bănărescu & Nalbant 1964). Nemacheilidae. Habitat: freshwater.
