Current status: Valid as Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis Ahl 1937. Acestrorhamphidae: Hyphessobryconinae. Distribution: Tapajós River basin, Brazil. Habitat: freshwater.

Could date to an earlier work of C. Brüning. Senior synonym of Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis Ahl 1937, but name not used as valid for the last 90 years. •Synonym of Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis Ahl 1937 -- (Lima et al. 2024:199 [ref. 40817]). Nomen Oblitum. Current status: Synonym of Hyphessobrycon pulchripinnis Ahl 1937. Acestrorhamphidae: Hyphessobryconinae. Habitat: freshwater.
