Lectotype established by Fowler 1912:555 •Synonym of Thymallus arcticus (Pallas 1776) -- (Baxter & Stone 1995:201 [ref. 23374], Scott & Crossman 1998:304 [ref. 24570]). •Questionably synonym of Thymallus signifer (Richardson 1823) -- (Dyldin et al. 2017:116 [ref. 35967]). •Synonym of Thymallus signifer (Richardson 1823) -- (Weiss et al. 2020:[4] [ref. 37974]). Current status: Synonym of Thymallus signifer (Richardson 1823). Salmonidae: Thymallinae. Habitat: freshwater, brackish, marine.
