Spelled as uninotatns on p. 309; regarded as a typesetting error. Spelled uninotatus in conspectus (p. 383) and index (p. 432), but not mentioned in errata (pp. 356, 442) or addition to errata [all of above published July 1861]. •Valid as Girardinus uninotatus Poey 1860 -- (Rosen & Bailey 1963:111 [ref. 7067], Lee et al. 1983:27 [ref. 22527], Parenti et al. 1999:10 [ref. 24072], Lucinda in Reis et al. 2003:561 [ref. 27061], Lucinda & Reis 2005:42 [ref. 29205], Meyer 2015:123 [ref. 34698], Faloh-Gandarilla et al. 2016:6 [ref. 35177], Huber 2019:76 [ref. 36941]). Current status: Valid as Girardinus uninotatus Poey 1860. Poeciliidae: Poeciliinae. Distribution: Sierra de los Organos, Pinar del Río, Cuba. Habitat: freshwater.
