Types: Shinohara & Williams 2006:557 [ref. 31656]. •Valid as Stlengis misakia (Jordan & Starks 1904) -- (Watanabe 1960:35 [ref. 11959], Yamakawa in Okamura et al. 1982:291, 403 [ref. 8256], Yabe in Masuda et al. 1984:325 [ref. 6441], Nakabo 2000:630 [ref. 25086], Shinohara et al. 2001:319 [ref. 25995], Nakabo 2002:630 [ref. 26001], Sonoyama et al. 2020:91 [ref. 37637]). Current status: Valid as Stlengis misakia (Jordan & Starks 1904). Psychrolutidae: Oligocottinae. Distribution: Northwestern Pacific: southern and central Japan. Habitat: marine.
