Syntypes: (4) whereabouts unknown. Lectotype established by Berg 1949:592, Fig. 349 if specimen is identifiable. Author also seen as Kashchenko. Current status: Valid as Phoxinus ujmonensis Kaschenko 1899. Leuciscidae: Phoxininae. Distribution: Mongolia, China, Kazakhstan and Russia. Habitat: freshwater.
