Specific name is an adjective. •Valid as Hara longissima Ng & Kottelat 2007 -- (Anganthoibi & Vishwanath 2009:469 [ref. 30480], Kottelat 2013:227 [ref. 32989], Mahapatra & Kar 2015:34 [ref. 33777]). •Valid as Erethistes longissimus (Ng & Kottelat 2007). Current status: Valid as Erethistes longissimus (Ng & Kottelat 2007). Sisoridae: Sisorinae. Distribution: Irrawaddy River drainage, northern Myanmar. Habitat: freshwater.
