Holotype: FFR 1992. Paratypes: CMK 19725 (2); FFR 1993 (11), 1994 (15). Plus non-type specimens. Type catalog: Kaya et al. 2021:423 [ref. 38688]. •Valid as Squalius seyhanensis Turan, Kottelat & Doğan 2013 -- (Çiçek et al. 2015:147 [ref. 35151], Turan et al. 2017:2 [ref. 35136], Çiçek et al. 2018:15 [ref. 36267], Bayçelebi 2020:757 [ref. 37964], Çiçek & Sungur 2020:117 [ref. 38064], Çiçek et al. 2020:253 [ref. 37644], Çiçek et al. 2023:414 [ref. 40625], Çiçek et al. 2024:263 [ref. 40789]). Current status: Valid as Squalius seyhanensis Turan, Kottelat & Doğan 2013. Leuciscidae: Leuciscinae. Distribution: Asia Minor: Seyhan River basin (Mediterranean tributary), Kayseri Province (Turkey). Habitat: freshwater.
