Distribution: Eastern Indian Ocean, western Pacific: Sumatra (Indonesia) and Sabah (Malaysia) east to Caroline Islands, New Ireland (Papua New Guinea) and Vanuatu, north to Taiwan, south to northern Western Australia and Queensland (Australia), and New Caledonia. Habitat: marine.
